Abstract
The proposed project, CampusMatrix, is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based Academic Analytics and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Management System. It is engineered to simplify, automate, and highly optimize the rigorous accreditation processes mandated by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for engineering institutions in India. During the preparation of the NBA Self-Assessment Report (SAR), academic departments are forced to collect, process, map, and evaluate massive volumes of student performance data. Traditional manual methodologies, which rely heavily on decentralized spreadsheet tracking, are inherently time consuming, highly susceptible to mathematical errors, and severely lack cross-departmental transparency. The primary objective of the proposed system is to fully automate the management and mathematical computation of Course Outcomes (COs), Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and dynamic CO-PO mapping matrices. The platform provides a highly secure, centralized web-based ecosystem utilizing modern web technologies (Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL). Administrators, Heads of Departments (HODs), and faculty members are granted role-based access to securely ingest assessment records, conduct real-time threshold evaluations, and automatically calculate Direct Attainment, Indirect Attainment (via Course Exit Surveys), and aggregate PO/PSO attainments. By eliminating man-ual data handling, CampusMatrix acts as an efficient, error-free digital foundation for continuous quality improvement and strict NBA accreditation compliance.
