Abstract

Substance abuse remains a significant global public health concern, contributing to physical morbidity, psychological distress, social dysfunction, and economic burden. Despite advances in conventional treatment modalities, relapse rates remain substantial, highlighting the need for complementary and integrative approaches. Homoeopathy, a holistic system of medicine, emphasizes individualized treatment and aims to address the physical, emotional, and psychological dimensions of addiction. This article explores the potential role of homoeopathy in substance abuse intervention, focusing on its supportive application in managing withdrawal symptoms, reducing cravings, enhancing emotional stability, and improving overall quality of life. The integration of homoeopathy with conventional medical care, counseling, and rehabilitation may offer a comprehensive strategy for supporting recovery and promoting long-term well-being.
