Abstract
Human Resource Management (HRM) has emerged as one of the most significant functions of modern organizations. It is no longer confined to recruitment and payroll administration but has evolved into a strategic discipline that contributes directly to organizational performance, innovation, employee engagement, and competitive advantage. Human resources are regarded as the most valuable asset of an organization because they possess the knowledge, skills, creativity, and commitment necessary for achieving business objectives. This article examines the concept, evolution, objectives, functions, significance, challenges, and future trends of Human Resource Management. It also highlights the role of technology, leadership, diversity, employee well-being, and sustainable HR practices in the twenty-first century.
